Team Scoring

Dacard.ai supports multi-product organizations with team-based scoring, composite analytics, and portfolio-level intelligence. This guide covers setting up your team and getting the most from collaborative scoring.

Creating a team

Teams in Dacard.ai are automatically provisioned based on your email domain. When you sign up with a work email, you join (or create) the organization associated with that domain.
1

Sign up with your work email

Use your company email address during registration. The platform extracts your domain and matches you to an existing organization or creates a new one.
2

Name your organization

The first user from a domain becomes the admin and can set the organization display name under Settings > Account.
3

Add products

Create products from the dashboard. Each product has a URL and display name. Products are shared across all team members.

Inviting members

Any team member can invite colleagues. New members automatically inherit the member role.
1

Share the sign-up link

Anyone who signs up with the same email domain joins your organization automatically. No invite code needed.
2

Assign roles

Admins can promote members to higher roles from Settings > Members. Available roles: Member, Lead, Executive, Admin.

Roles follow a hierarchy. You cannot assign a role higher than your own or modify users who outrank you.

Composite team scores

When your team scores multiple products, the platform computes composite analytics that reveal patterns across your portfolio.

Portfolio average

The portfolio average is the mean score across all products in your organization. It gives you a single number to track over time and benchmark against industry peers.

Dimension heatmap

The suite view shows a heatmap of all 27 dimensions across all products, making it easy to spot:
  • Systemic strengths: Dimensions where your entire portfolio scores well
  • Systemic weaknesses: Dimensions that are consistently low across products
  • Outliers: Products that diverge significantly from the portfolio pattern

Score timeline

Track how your portfolio average changes month over month. Each re-score updates the timeline, showing whether your team’s investments are paying off.

Portfolio analytics

Access portfolio-level intelligence from the Suite page (requires Lead role or above).

Suite Intelligence

Cross-product dimension analysis, cluster identification, and computed insights about your portfolio’s maturity patterns.

Dashboard

All products with latest scores, deltas from previous scores, and quick-access to individual reports.

What suite intelligence reveals

  • Cluster analysis: Groups dimensions into Foundation, Market Position, Execution Engine, and Outlier categories
  • Systemic patterns: Identifies dimensions that are strong or weak across your entire portfolio
  • Cross-product insights: AI-generated observations about how your products compare and where collective investment would have the highest impact
  • Score deltas: Track improvement or regression per product between scoring runs

Best practices

  • Score regularly. Re-score products monthly to track progress and catch regressions.
  • Score before and after. Run a baseline score before major initiatives, then re-score to measure impact.
  • Use integrations. Connected tools (GitHub, Linear, Slack) provide ground-truth signals that increase scoring accuracy and confidence.
  • Review as a team. Share suite analytics in product reviews to align on priorities.
Scoring costs credits. Each URL score costs 10 credits. Monitor your usage under Settings > Usage and upgrade to Pro for higher limits.
